New Things I'm Loving

1. EXO (or basically k-pop): EXO is my bias group though (that's fancy for your favourite). They had 12 members earlier but now there are 9. It took me a week and a half and the help of a friend (who introduced me to k pop) to get all their names right. My first impression was "THEY ALL LOOK THE SAME?!" And they do during photoshoots but if you watch their Showtime episodes (that's bascially like KUWK) you start to notice differences and also that they're actually really different from each other but all of them are just a s fun. Now to the actual music. It's catchy, it's got a good beat and the lyrics are good (I mean from what I understood from the translations lol) BTW THEIR DANCING. THEY SLAY AT DANCING. Check out "Growl", "Call Me Baby", and "Love Me Right" if you want to give them a try. Other good groups are BTS, Girl Generation, 4Minute, and GOT7

2. Anime: Also known as Japanese Cartoons. They all have such unique stories. I personally recommend these:

2.1. Your Lie In April : It's a musical drama that follows a boy who has lost the ability to hear the notes of his own piano (that's right, just his own) after the death of his mother. without giving too much away, it's about believing yourself again, acceptance, finding the good in bad, and of course there are underlying love stories as well.

Wiki: "Piano prodigy Kōsei Arima dominated the competition and has become famous among child musicians but also controversial. After his mother, who was also his coldhearted, abusive instructor that forced him to play the piano emotionlessly, died, he had a mental breakdown while performing at a piano recital at the age of twelve. As a result, he is no longer able to hear the sound of his piano even though his hearing is perfectly fine. Two years later, Kōsei hasn't touched the piano and views the world in monochrome, without any flair or color. He has resigned himself to living out his life with his good friends, Tsubaki and Watari, until, one day, a girl changes everything. Kaori Miyazono, a fourteen-year old audacious, free-spirited violinist whose playing style reflects her manic personality, helps Kōsei return to the music world and shows that it should be free and mold breaking unlike the structured and rigid style Kōsei was used to as she continues to uplift him."

2.2 Fruits Basket: (Be warned, the anime only covers half the manga. It does end on a happy note but it doesn't cover the entire story) It's about a family who has been cursed and each member turns into a zodiac animal when under extreme duress or when embraced by the opposite sex.

Wiki: "When high school student Tohru Honda's mother dies in a car crash on her way to work in the parking lot, she decides to live with her grandfather. Renovations on the house and unsupportive and unkind family members cause her to move out of her grandfather's house temporarily and, since she has nowhere else to go, Tohru begins living in a tent and supporting herself. That is, until she finds a home in the least likely of places, inhabited by her popular classmate Yuki Sohma and his cousin Shigure. The first day Tohru moves into the Sohma house, an orange haired teenager crashes through the roof of her new bedroom and starts attacking Yuki. This newcomer is Kyo, Yuki and Shigure's aggressively angry cousin. Once Kyo loses quickly to Yuki, he tries to fight him again. When he’s about to attack, Tohru tries to stop him, but slips on an article of clothing, making her fall onto Kyo’s back. When this happens, Tohru discovers something big about the Sohmas."

2.3 Anohana: Let's just read the wiki for this, I really don't know how to explain.

Wiki "A group of six sixth-grade-age childhood friends drift apart after one of them, Meiko "Menma" Honma, dies in an accident. Years after the incident, the leader of the group, Jinta Yadomi, has withdrawn from society, does not attend high school,  and lives as a recluse. One summer day, the ghost of an older-looking Menma appears beside him and asks to have a wish granted, reasoning that she cannot pass on into the afterlife until it is fulfilled. At first, he only tries to help her minimally because he thinks he is hallucinating. But since Menma does not remember what her wish is, Jinta gathers his estranged friends together once again, believing that they are the key to resolving this problem. All of the group join him, though most of them do so reluctantly. However, things grow increasingly complicated when his friends accuse him of not being able to get over the death of Menma, for Jinta is the only one who can see Menma's ghost and his friends think he is seeing things. But as matters progress, it is realized that Jinta is not the only person in the group who is having trouble letting go of the past. It is revealed that all of the group members blame themselves for Menma's death and long-hidden feelings are rekindled. The group struggles as they grow from trying to help Menma move on and help each other move on as well."

3. Tati Westbrook: She's a youtuber who mainly concentrates on makeup and new product lines and reviews. I personally don't use makeup but her voice and her videos soothe me and I find them really relaxing. Plus, she's absolutely gorgeous and down to earth.

4. THE NEW MOVIES ON TATINOF!!!
For those who need explanation, I love two youtubers named Dan Howell (danisnotonfire) and Phil Lester (amazingPhil). They went on tour recently and a couple of days ago they released the stageshow movie and the behind the scenes movie of the tour. MIND BLOWN, HEART EXPLODED.

So these are the things I've been loving. Hope you check some of them out! Till next time this is me signing off.

I'm not going to apologize for not posting frequently anymore. This is my blog and I can choose what I want to do with it. Please don't hate me.

Btw, You can watch anime on Youtube or an app called JP anime or if you wand to dive into the world headfirst and never come out, try crunchyroll. It has a month free I believe and then it's paid, but it's worth it.
